WHO ARE WE?

The Student Consent Research (S.C.O.R.E) Collaboration is composed of six QUB student volunteers and one SU Sabbatical Officer.

Originally, this group was created to help run a campaign in QUB to raise awareness and understanding of consent. However, it soon became evident that there were no published measures of sexual violence or harassment within the QUB student population.

Only 0.2% of the responses in the NUS, Hidden Marks Report were gathered from students in Northern Ireland. This report is not representative of Higher or Further Education institutions in Northern Ireland.

In order for a potential campaign to be beneficial and effective, it must be evidenced based.

The S.C.O.R.E Collaboration have been working to address this issue with guidance from QUB senior lecturers, PhD students and external experts in this field.
